EMFSA 2025: A Look Back at the Conference

The European Centre for Economic and Social Research (ECESR), together with its partners, organised the international scientific conference EMFSA 2025, held from July 4 to 7, 2025, in the beautiful Slovenian town of Portorož.

The conference program was spread across four days. The plenary session took place on the first day and was opened and moderated by Prof. Dr. Jaroslav Belás, the president of ECESR.

The Economics and Finance section was scheduled for the second day of the conference, followed by the Management and Marketing section.

A special section for PhD students and early-career researchers was also part of the event. This section featured several interesting scientific papers, which were published in the official conference proceedings.

Additionally, a special session titled Environment, Energy, and Society for the Twenty-First Century was held within the framework of the "HORIZON-MSCA-2022-SE-01" program under GA 101129820. This session took place online and was led by Prof. Dr. Yuriy Bilan.

The conference proceedings included abstracts of scientific articles contributed by 84 authors from ten countries.
